Formed from the development of advanced analysis software deployed within a current FA Premier League club, Academy Analytics Limited provides specialist systems and services within the Football Academy network, as well as supporting educational centres of excellence. Beginning with a core software that has been globally designed to efficiently support the monitoring and reporting requirements of the EPPP, the Company works within industry and academia to adapt and extend the functionality needed by individual Academies and Deptartments to address local priorities and methods.
The Company employs a staff of developers to provide the capacity for rapid implementation of customer priorities as well as an experienced client liaison team to undertake effective delivery of the latest developments, ensuring direct support for the introduction of advanced features and the smooth adoption by new users. Providing this close-quarter client-supplier feedback path is critical to efficient deployment of new features, maximising the value clients will gain from software projects and minimising any launch issues.
Based in Oxfordshire, the Company also has its own product development roadmap for the 2013/14 season, running in parallel to Academy-specific functional developments. This will ensure that the software system can provide the next generation of features expected by clients of advanced analysis software. These include mobile-platform Apps that enhance access to a web enabled 'big data' backend and distribution of match-analysis information to remote users.
